The Tree of Poetry
I’m sitting in a tree,
Trying to write poetry,
I look really dumb,
Because I’m looking at my thumb,
I have a dime,
But it doesn’t help me rhyme,
TICK-TOCK,
Goes the clock,
I’m running out of space,
So I’ll say it to your face,
I’m getting out of this tree,
Because I’m done with poetry.
