As I Am
You call me crazy, you say I’m weird
How about we get this cleared?
You go act on your cliché
I’ll live my life my own lone way
I think that it’s a boring game
When everyone tries to be the same
Like, am I really such a freak
When my only crime is being unique?
I’d rather go down this path alone
Than spend my days as someone’s clone
And if my indifference drives you mad
Well, I guess that’s just too bad
“Normal” may have strict regulations
But I won’t follow your expectations
So why don’t we all just agree
That you can do you, and I can do me

Being a "weird kid" isn't all that bad. Who wants to have the exact same opinion as someone else for everything? Being unique is a wonderful thing. Only by being unique can you do big things.
