a stranger no name no face yet the
bittersweet wave of banter of bacon and bio
crash my remote shores.
dachshunds, daffodils, and dragons,
enumerations with no end: you talk, i listen.
four a.m., five? sleep’s empty threats
goad but stop at the sweet dreams… of him.
haphazard infatuation
in too deep, no way out. my words
jagged in a sea of silkiness. he, a
king… a title fitting; his infectious
light-hearted laugh
magnified (180μm)
no flaws,
online, offline, entwined
put your hand in mine.
queen? a sad misnomer.
resolutions broken, a
soul out of touch, another
tongueless taste of
unrequited love.
victim again, or valkyrie. i’m a
warrior. feelings destroyed and never
explained. old texts from
yesterday read 3000 times
zigzagging in my mind.
