Right Words
Words: the destroyer of so many things.
In the midst of the fun, the flings,
Even when the world is dark and gray.
I always have something to say.
For me, when I get in a fight,
With words, I rebut with all my might.
To which she’ll say “I hate you.”
I’m sorry, I’m obnoxious, it’s true.
“I won’t talk to you until you’ve changed.”
I haven’t. I can’t. Am I deranged?
For I just fight with all my might
To prove myself. Must I always be right?
