Confession
The time has come it’s time you’ve learned
Of the truth of my reality the past unturned.
Bear witness to that I have to relieve
The burden of my soul of which you conceived.
It started way back, when we became betwixed
Friendship everlasting, but my motives fixed.
My eyes sought you, my hand as well
You looked past, causing my heart to swell.
Over years passed I’ve twisted and turned
Trying to overcome the wall you sited.
Perhaps my affection is wrongly placed
Because care upon me, you’ve never graced
I will move on and wait for you to find me then
Until maturity makes you realize what could have been.
