The river flows,
Always changing,
The river knows.
The river goes,
Wherever it chooses,
The river grows.
The river turns,
It meanders so,
The river yearns.
Weaving in and out,
At a changing speed,
The river slows down…
Streams branch off,
Each so different,
Some currents rough, some soft.
I choose a path
By nature’s call,
Until I reach
A waterfall.
The river stops,
A quiet pond.
All is still.
