Tulips
Atulip comes up from the ground for only a few short days, and yet makes a mark on all of our hearts. They come up every year knowing that soon they will be gone, no longer the beautiful peices of artwork that sprung from the ground. And yet they come up with the hope that maye this year, they will come up for just a little bit longer.

I really loved this. :) I read some of your other poems on the website, but this one sticks out to me the most. It's probably because it's so simple, yet so sad. I love simple poems because poetry doesn't have to be deep and in depth to make a point, it just has to scratch the surface and gently pull at person's heart strings. :) My fave line:
"And yet they come up with the hope that maybe this year, they will come up for just a little bit longer."
