Baseball Blitz
The sun in my eyes
The wind in my face
I hit the ball
Now I run to first base
The ball it sure flew
The bat broke in two
It’s out of the park
There is no remark
The crowd is gleaming
They look like they’re dreaming
I’m at home plate
It all feels so great
I got the run
Yet the game is far from done
The score is tied
With my team by my side
One more homerun
Than game is done
I line up to the plate
And the ball’s out of the gate
