I Understand
It’s okay to seem alone
When you see nobody there
As if everything went bad
And you want to disappear
I know that life gets hard
You just need to stay strong
It seems like no one understands
And you always come up wrong
They laugh and say you don’t matter
Not knowing how much it would sting
Their words are sharper than a knife
And to you, it meant everything
It hurts right now I know
Don’t think about what they said
The silence screams louder than any words
So just ignore them instead
I know what you endured
The pain they put you through
Just know that someone always listens
I promise I’ll stand up for you
