Lost
No direction, no destination;
My way is barred by countless
Ways of wrongdoing, unable to
pierce the wrongs with what is right.
I am confused, with no luck of
escaping,
My heart beats faster as I strain
to think; I close my eyes
But nothing comes to me.
No explanation.
I long for answers, some sign or
signal; what will show me where to
go?
I lie here counting seconds, minutes,
Hours as my thoughts scramble.
Waiting for some way of relieving
Myself of the burden
Which bars my way.
Lost.
No direction, no destination.
No hope.
