Defined, Love
Love is all powerful.
At its roots, can we define love?
It is seen in science as the drive of all life.
Dogs do not feel emotion, but they have a vulnerability to the kind words of its master.
All things are not without its other.
With pain, there is joy.
With restraint, there is freedom.
In the furnaces of the dead, a father sees his son in the pile, buries him with the others, shot if he falls to his knees.
Hitler's reign.
No compassion.
I do not see love as an emotion any longer.
It is a drive.
We do things for love.
A mother would give her life for her child.
A man would give it all away to be with his wife.
It is a glimpse of the bigger picture.
"Baby, you are my world."
Is this a man speaking his heart?
I do believe it is so.
For without love, the man on the street would not have become your grandfather.
You would not have remained alive through your mother's pregnancy.
We have the power.
But we have also a responsibility.
The thing that never escapes us, but sometimes makes us feel alone.
Love is no emotion.
Love is our passion.
To live amongst others and believe that someday, we will overcome.
