I'm Not a Hero
I do what I do,
Because I am an
American citizen.
I do what I do,
As my job,
My way to keep
All my people protected.
I do what I do,
Because I have the strength
To fight for my country.
Because I am a strong
American citizen.
Don’t call me a hero,
I’m just doing my job.
This is my life,
What I choose to live my life for,
And die for.
Don’t sit at my grave and weep,
Stand up and say that
I died for all the right reasons.
I am not a fallen soldier,
I am a risen American.
