And so I say to you, with an open heart
these words derived from a chained love
that prance upon my tongue,
in the stammer
between blushing pilgrims.
They find the rhythm to speak
between the heart beat,
and the heartache.
Between the melody,
and the lyrical ecstasy.
You are the heroin
that courses through my veins,
bled through the pen
so that I may write this to you.
And so I stay silent
In the stammer of my breaths.
And I say to you, with an open heart,
I love you
