A loss by Ana Catherine
From the day of birth,
To the day of death,
Sister Melissa,
Why are we broken glass?
You don’t care and I don’t blame you,
But if it weren’t for father,
I wouldn't have cared for you,
Then I came into content with myself,
You make me wait and hope for a change,
You drive the insides of my chest into a rage,
I was broken from a young age,
I think so were you,
I was hoping we can connect with gratitude,
Until you ignored me and chose to believe fathers side,
I hate how I love you and I hate myself for it,
Because you don’t deserve my care or not even a glance in the eye,
I lost every single part of my dignity a long time ago for after each time I tried,
The situation is hopeless and so are you,
Whoever said family stick together no matter what was a fool,
Lies being layered and applied,
Hearts shattered but in disguise,
I guess I’ll see you on the other side. Goodbye…
