Dear Cake
The first time I saw you, you appeared delicious
Your sweet smell subdued me
Your toppings made me conscious
Of your amazing beauty
Oh cake, I was so jealous
When I saw my brother devour you
It was hard for me to witness your plight
After all you were supposed to be mine
But it’s fine, no need to fight
I will sneak out of the house before nine
And meet you in the store at night
I will check you out, cake, and your future with me will be bright
