My life
My life is like a fire.
It burns and burns, and it get higher.
It sizzles, sputters, and dies out.
Is it not possible to keep it consistent?
My life is like the darkness.
No one can see in it, they are blinded.
They have to trust themselves to find their way,
in this darkness.
Can I make it through?
My life is like a battery.
When fully charged its fast and ready to go.
When it’s dying, it loses all energy, fun, and brain power.
Did I remember to charge this battery?
My life is like a shirt.
When it’s new its pretty, strong, and bright.
As the shirt got older it lost all it’s colors, beauty, and light.
Why do I have to be a shirt?
I fed the flames.
I trusted the dark.
I charged the battery.
I took care of the shirt.
The flames still died.
I am still lost in the dark.
The shirt is withered and destroyed.
What is this? What happened?
I put to much wood on the fire.
I went running blindly in the darkness.
The battery was over charged.
I wore the shirt too much.
I didn’t think.
Life is to short not to think.
Spare what you must.
Watch your back.
Clean up your messes.
Own up to our mistakes.
Make right your wrongs.
And breathe.
