The Fight for MY Best Friend
Here it goes again,
With my best friend.
You choose to ignore me,
And it’s really starting to bore me.
I put on this act,
Like I don’t give a crap.
But on the inside it hurts,
I wish the Tyler I once knew came back.
I don’t know what’s going on,
We used to have so much fun.
It seems to me I’m a robot,
Because sometimes you turn me off,
And some on.
I don’t mean to nag,
I hope you’re not mad.
I’ve given you a lot of dedication,
And feel no appreciation.
I feel like I’m fighting,
For you friendship.
But every time I battle,
I take one step back,
On the path,
To the Tyler,
My best friend,
I,
Once,
Knew.
