Observations
A breeze tickles my nose,
The cold wraps around my toes.
My eyes are drawn to leaves falling everywhere,
My lungs fill with the crisp Autumn air.
My fingers are stilled, resting on my knees,
My ears hear squirrels jumping from tree to tree.
I observe everything far and near,
As I sit in my treestand awaiting a deer.
