I, Too, Exist Men
I, too, exist Men.
I am the feminine woman.
They send me to the kitchen
When the men arrive,
But I laugh,
I stay,
And I listen.
Tomorrow,
I’ll be wiser
When company comes,
Nobody’ll dare,
Ask me
“Do the dishes,”
Then.
Anyways,
They’ll realize how great I am,
And they’ll be rueful-
I, too, am a person.
