Red Handed
I’m caught red handed and time stands still
This carcass below me is fresh from the kill
My hands drip freedom as the boys draw gun
These men in blue have ruined all my fun
Fifteen cases of souls gone free
Fifteen people who all met me
This hint of copper which fills the suite
The giver of life, the scent of deceit
What can I know; this is all I’ve done
This roller coaster ride has just begun
They want me alive, but they just don’t know
Through this broken window we start the show
My farewell, a howl of guns as I make the dive
My blood is pumping; heart is racing, though I won’t survive
Out in the light I see the amber rays of sun
I sigh as I plunge, my life is finally done
