The opposite of tender is the scowl on your parents face when you get an F on your math test.

At the top of tomorrow waits a refreshing new day of achievements, yet to come.

At the top of today waits hard work, practice and patience that will make tomorrow become real.

If you look underneath peace, you might hear the chants

of angry protesters outside the state capital.

The hiding place of rain shivers underneath your yellow rain

boots being smashed into every puddle, in a terrible storm.

At the center of boredom is hearing all natures sounds from outside your bedroom window.

If you jump into the present, you’ll land on an unwanted ride on a twisty roller coaster.

The sadness of puppies hiding under the bed on a stormy July night.

When you toss sadness to the wind, it returns as a hopeful

reminder from god reminding you all is good.

When you tiptoe through the Valley of Happiness, you might find

memories you discarded, bringing you back to sadness.

The swirl of loneliness sounds like the whimper of tears flowing down ones soft blushing cheek.

At the edge of silver rushes a river passing through hope and light.

The opposite of tough is the grin on your parents face when you get an A on your math test.
