Colorful Noise
Colorful noises surrounding the air
With rainbows and glitter all over our hair
Whilst walking through a path of toys
And listening to the colorful noise.
I feel her hand grab my hand fast
Because thunderstorms are quick to pass.
So we sit inside and look around
To discover the colorful noises we found.
We watch them swirl around our legs
And through the rooms, windows and halls.
Fear disappears and happiness arrives
As the colors begin to come alive.
She splashes them onto a paper
Creating oceans of purple, pink and blue.
Colorful creatures like corals and crabs
Come to life from the ocean that she drew.
Now pictures and drawings fill up the walls
While the colorful noise roams around the halls.
Leaving happiness in its path,
Letting us smile forever and always laugh.
This poem was dedicated towards my little sister, whom loves colors and hates thunderstorms.
