The Dark Side Of Life

Sitting under the tree of broken hearts,
I realized how much life sucks,
To think you’ll be better one day,
Doesn’t make the world revolve the other way,
The things we put up with each day,
Doesn’t make it stop the rain,
Make it sunny and warm,
Fill the room up with joy,
As much as we fight for the best,
We tremble under the rest,
But sitting under that crowded tree,
I realized how much worse our lives could be,
Without that bright sun,
Where would we be?

Sometimes you think life is so hard, but take a step back and think about how much worse it could be. You might realize that you are in a way lucky to be given second chances.
