Expectations
Every star casts its light,
Whether darkened by turmoil,
Or glowing so bright,
And as the brightest light grows,
Past all expectation,
It's often disregarded,
As simply given to a nation,
But the moment the light flickers,
In the depthless blue skies,
We judge so profoundly,
With our deaf blinded eyes,
We oh to quickly shall rally with indignation,
At the sudden fail of forced expectation,
But what do we wish of the suddenly flickering light,
Why do we become of him such plain black and white?
After work and sweat,
Being humbled but kept,
The second you show your imperfection,
You shall be swept off,
In lifeless deception,
For what can be harder than expectation,
Forced unto one,
With black indignation?
