Camera Nikon D3100
Exposure (1/200)
Aperture f/4.5
Focal Length 18 mm
ISO Speed 100

I found this cool 'twisted' dead bush this previous winter, beside of a cool haunted looking house I visited. I automaically fell in love with it and did several shots. I later edited it with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and really enhanced the feel I was going for.

"According to some, heroic deaths are admirable things. (Generally those who don't have to do it. Politicians and writers spring to mind.) I've never been convinced by this argument, mainly because, no matter how cool, stylish, composed, unflappable, manly, or defiant you are, at the end of the day you're also dead. Which is a little too permanent for my liking." — Jonathan Stroud (Ptolemy's Gate)

This makes me shiver. So amazing and so much more than a bush.

"Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster; and if you gaze into the abyss the abyss also gazes into you."-- Friedrich Nietzsche

So captivating and brilliant :) But I would expect nothing less from such a wonderful photographer and artist! This picture really captures my attention and the focal point-- the convoluted tree-- brings about an immense feeling of beauty and design within nature. Stunning!

Do not let the things you cannot do interfere with the things that you can do

No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist.

I love how you made the mood of this, at first it kinda looked like an enchanted or fantasy look which I thought was amazing.
