Response to "Drown"
I think comparing someone who is struggling in life to someone who's drowning makes sense. Often, people who struggle with bullying and suffer without crying for help. As the author brings up the captain of a ship who must scan for people who are bullied, he asks "Would you?" challenging the reader to reach out to those who may be suffering alone. I think it's good that the author tries to move people to reach out because many people feel so alone and hurt.
