Feedback: Fiction Section
Dear Teen Ink,
Your magazines are very enjoyable to read. The articles are very relatable too. I can connect to them, for I am a teen myself.
One thing I would personally recommend is a larger Fiction Section. Most of the stories you publish are either non-fiction essays and articles or poetry. A longer Fiction Section would catch readers’ eyes and lots of people would be interested.
Lots of students my age love fiction so I think you would get lots of new, eager readers attracted to your magazine if you expanded the Fiction Section. To make the room to expand, I personally think that you should take out some poems and shorten the Poetry Section. As a teen, I can tell you that the average teen isn’t really very interested in poetry. An expanded Fiction Section would grab the attention of lots of creative readers who prefer fiction to non-fiction or poetry.
Thanks,
Aly M.
