Loneliness
Every individual has at one time, experienced loneliness. It’s depressing not having another to communicate with. Many times, there are moments when one may need to get something of his/her chest. It’s always good to have a friend to share your mind with. Without a friend, many of those who are lonely may feel as though nobody understands them! Loneliness occurs in community, within teens, as well as within adults.
It’s possible to be lonely in a community. For example, if one were to be working at a facility, they may not get along with the other workers. Making them feel isolated, and forcing them to seclude themselves. Loneliness in people tends to be caused by being disliked. This would explain why one would seclude himself from others. If they were to have at least one friend to talk to about being disliked by coworkers, I’m sure they might learn to cope with it, or perhaps learn how they can be liked!
In high school, teens commonly keep a lot of suppressed feelings to themselves. These suppressed feelings may force them to seclude themselves in school. This sort of loneliness comes from lack of trust. They may have friends to share feelings with, but they may feel as though they cannot trust that person or they may feel as though the other person may not understand. By having a trustworthy friend, they may be able to release those feelings, and possibly become more outgoing!
Even adults experience loneliness. As someone who is all grown up and ready to live on their own, they may feel it is time to look for a significant other to begin a family with. However, they may lack the confidence to approach someone they may be interested in. This may cause even an adult to seclude themselves. Perhaps by obtaining advice from a friend they may have, they would be able to find the confidence to search for a love interest.
Loneliness is constantly an issue for people of the world. However, with the existence of a friend, they can overcome that loneliness, whatever it may be. No individual should seclude themselves. Always keeping to oneself is not a very productive way of living. A friend or partner is all you need to fill that loneliness.
