There Is Nothing Left, Foo Fighters, Album Review
Describing this album is honestly too hard to put into words. I could not seem to find one song I did not like. The songs are perfectly placed to have a soft and new sound but also having the classic Foo Fighters heavy rock. “Stacked Actors” is the first song and also the heaviest song. It sounds like the Foo Fighter’s grungy side, then it gets softer by the end of the album into songs like “Ain’t It the Life”. In this album, the band sounds stronger and more like a group then a dictatored band by Dave Grohl. The lyrics are clever and match the tone of the music very well. In “Learn to Fly” the lyrics are very strong and catchy, also in “M.I.A.”, the lyrics flow with the tune of the music and make the great sound that closes the album. Another thing that makes this album amazing, is that it was released when the pop culture was getting into its peak. The Foo Fighters created one of the best albums of their time and arguably the best rock band of their life time.
