Why TV Shows Are Superior To Movies
What do you think is more superior, movies or TV shows? The answer is TV shows of course, let me tell you why. They are much easier to watch, have more story to it, and are enjoyable to watch for a long period of time unless you're like me and binge shows in one day!
TV shows are the best thing to watch compared to movies, especially when you do not have enough time to watch a full movie in one sitting. If you are often busy and have a break, of course you’re not going to fit a whole movie in that break, but you are going to be able to fit an episode or two of your favourite show in instead. Besides, nobody likes to have a break in between the movie, it takes away from the experience and may cause you to forget what happened prior to your pause in the movie and makes it less enjoyable, TV shows are better for this reason because when you finish an episode, usually shows will either have a recap or they will remind you what happened last time the show was on which is much more convenient than having to pause right in the middle and forgetting everything that happened in a movie. Because TV shows are much more convenient than movies, it makes them automatically better than movies because let's be real, who does not love convenience?
Secondly, TV shows have much more storyline to them. In movies you will get a little bit of the character’s backstory, which has to be crammed in less than 20 minutes because you need more of the actual story that the movie takes place with rather than the past, but in TV shows, you usually get to know the whole story of the character in further episodes of the show. Learning more about the character in TV shows usually ties into what happened in the prior episodes and helps you understand the show just a little more every time. Knowing more about the character makes them way more enjoyable and you are able to make more self connections to the character, that's why when you ask for someone's favourite character, they usually answer with a TV show or cartoon character rather than a movie character. As well, they usually choose the show character that they relate to the most because they find it enjoyable to find a character that is just like them. That is why shows are better than movies, the characters are better which adds to the shows being better in the long run.
In conclusion, TV shows are far more enjoyable and convenient than movies, as much as movies are good, they don't compare to TV shows in the slightest. Next time you are on a break and want to watch something, look for a TV show instead of watching a movie.
