Are you ready?
I think that as a person you should choose when you are ready for dating or “going out”. You know if you want to be in a committed relationship or not. I realize now that I’m not exactly ready. I rushed into something and ended up hurting someone else in the process. I realize I led him to believe that I was there when I wasn’t, and I feel totally bad about it now. I know not to make the same mistakes now, and that maybe my parents are right; I’m too young to be in a real relationship. It’s not all about someone liking you or having a cute boy/girl on your arms. I feel sometimes everyone just worried about getting it over and done: had a boyfriend, check, kissing, check, sex, check. This relationship thing isn’t a test you have to pass or fail by a certain time. The only thing you should be checking off your list is this question, whether you’re looking for love, kissing or just a relationship in general: Are you ready?
