Abby Lee Miller
So I am sitting on my couch watching Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition...there was little else on...If u have ever seen Dance Mom's then u know how crazy she is...boy I thought I knew some dance m&m's and cocky "omg I'm so pretty girls".... The girls are just about killing themselves to impress this woman who believes a flexible, perfect girl is the only good dancer... She is crazy...in all honesty of course the m&m's aren't much better...I have been dancing for 12 years now and I am so thankful that the moms at EMT are not like that...I don't believe in perfection and I don't believe that Abby or anyone for that matter has the right to tell a dancer whether they suck or not...the only person a dancer should have to impress is themselves because the only opinion that should matter to a dancer is theirs and their parents because each dancer has their own style and just because it isn't the style the person likes doesn't mean it isn't good...no dancer is the same and that is what makes each one beautiful

Do not second guess yourself. You are beautiful, talented and amazing. Have a clean, humble heart. Challenge your skills, but know your limits. Remember that you are different than the person beside you and that is what make you great. Keep dancing until God says you can't.
Love,
A dancer of 12 years
