when is it enough?

you see it in movies, shows, games, and books but it happens in real life too.

when you go to school in the morning do you want to be afraid that you might not go home the same? the short answer is no. I think every kid on planet earth has dealt with bullying before. weather it is for your taste in music, or the pop culture you enjoy it happens.

this happens every where and if you think it doesn't just read this because I can give prime examples. in 5th grade I was once attacked by a student in my class (we'll call him Tim to keep his identidy secret) he is the type of kid to be kind till he feels like he wants to be mean. me and my friend L (keeping his name secret as well) were on the playground when Tim comes up to us. he's being all nice like he does so we hang out with him.

about 20 minutes later he started to insult me like crazy (f bomb/a**) pretty much every word save for N word and the other F-bomb. me and L decided to walk away from the situation but Tim followed us. me and L made our way to the football field where we stopped and started talking but a minute later Tim shows up.

he had gotten angry that me and L had left because "I was only playing!" but I didnt care. I told him "Leave me alone please." but he just would not. after a minute he comes at me and throws a punch.

I moved away but he came back. well my memory of the timeline after that is hazy I know some of the attacks he used. M.M.A. body slam, being put in a choke hold (and being choked to the point of not knowing if he planned on letting go) and after saying "STOP!!" being kicked on the ground.

amazingly I had not lost any blood in the attack but I was really beaten. L ran to get help but Tim (who blames me for everything. more later) ran over to the teacher L told and gave his story. it went "us 3 were just hanging out when him (points to L) and him (points to me) said lets go to the football field. not knowing I decided why not and followed them.then Pugger11 (he said my name but for now that will also be secret) attacked me. I fought back but he would not stop and when he started to lose he sent L over here!!" the teacher knew me and saw my injured body walking over and asked for my side of the story. im not going to re-count everything I just said but yes i told her that.

he got in trouble and we got the school version of a restraining order. this year (6th grade) the plan ended but the first thing Tim says is "you wanna f****** fight me!??" so yeah.

so in the end dont let things get to this. stand up for yourself. and what i learned? fight back. and stay away from jerks
