i, as a person can say that an article, or paper can never be an original piece, because people have inspirations, and ideas. for an example, i can sit in class and think of a random story, but the teacher or student next to me probably gave me the idea.
inspirations are every where, as well as ideas. Stephani Meyer came up with the twilight series, and in that series is a tribe. i came up with a story that involved an indian girl who falls in love with a vampire thinking no one involved indians before, but i have looked over the twilight piece as a little minor detail. I thought about it over and over again, i dont want people saying i copied Twight. so an original is some thing that i believe doesnt exsist, but an idea always lives in your imagination. it just needs an object, or person to give it life.
