Value Prompt
1) Entrepreneurship
2) This is meaningful because I had to have entrepreneurship to do my day to day routine. When I wasn't living with anyone but myself, I knew it was practically life or death if I didn't make enough money to pay my bills, etc. I ran several small businesses within Topeka and surrounding cities, including Kansas City. Regardless my living with my mom or myself, I needed to still pay my bills to keep my car, my home, etc. Hustling and being an entrepreneur is practically the same in essence. Hustlers and entrepreneurs both have the motivation to not give up and just make money and that's all that's on our mind. When we are down, we dig deep and make a miracle happen, while your average person just watches in astonishment wanting an explanation how we made stuff happen. It's all I had.
3) It doesn't show up that much anymore because I'm in a way better area and situation. I'm blessed to live another day and I'm blessed to have a fresh start and a clean slate. I won't ever forget what I've gone through but I'm moving on from what I was. I remember me and my buddy driving around trying to make money to split 60/40 (because I had the car) at 2am on a school night to be able to eat the next day. We made money anyway we could. Sometimes we lost it all but we bounced back. Now, he's almost off probation (June). He is continuing to grind and make a way for him and his girlfriend of little more than a year. He does everything outside of work, tattoos, etc. When I'm in town, I say "what's the word?" And he slides with me. We are still brothers regardless what happens and I know he was there since day 1.
