100 Word Memoir
It was quite the sight to behold. I was perched at the top of a cherry tree in nothing but men’s scrubs, a hairnet, and wooden clogs. Below, my cousins waited holding buckets in the air to catch the cherries I threw. They fought over who got to catch the most cherries, which led to most of these fruits ending up in the mud. In the distance, is the sound of our grandfather belting folk songs as he reaps the summer's onions. As the sun set, we headed inside and anticipated the next day on the little farm.
