Do you love or hate Shanghai?
Why did a group of people immigrate to Shanghai and make this international metropolis their other home? Shanghai is regarded as a paradise by people in poor areas; dreamers from the poverty-stricken area think that if they come to Shanghai, they can make a large amount of money to start a new life to escape from poverty. Shanghai was just like the United States in the 19th century. People from all over the world immigrate to the United States to realize their American dream. Although there was some Act to prevent them from coming to the USA, they still chose to be illegal immigrants.
However, Shanghai is a big city that can't let outsiders find their place. No matter what kind of hope you have for Shanghai, it is always indifferent to you and refuses to welcome you. After living in Shanghai for a long time, people will become snobbish and impetuous for no reason. You will gradually regard money as a measure of everything, including love and family affection. For instance, people will choose to give up their true love and marry a person with real estate. Why do promising people become so snobbish? People have to become snobbish, on account of only in this way can they make a living.
More and more people have come to Shanghai now, resulting in increasing competitive pressure, and everyone lives a rapid life. Life seems that only by moving forward can we not lag behind others, and people can't enjoy life at all. Shanghai has become a place that can give people dreams and deprive people of hope.

I came across an article titled "Loving and Hating New York." This article inspired me, because I live in Shanghai which has some similarities with New York, so this work was produced.
