Taylor was 19 years old when she meet her boyfriend james, they dated for a few years only to find that he was a mentally unstable abusive alcoholic. By the time taylor was 23, she finally got the nerve to leave james. After she had left  james, derek, james younger brother was there to comfort her, after 18 months derek and taylor began to date, soon taylor realizes she had fell for her ex's brother, a few year later derek and taylor got married.
A year had past and James had came to derek begs for a place to live Taylor didn't want him to live with them but derek being james brother couldn't turn family away even tho it would upset taylor. James would be at the house by morning making dishes, eating all the food, leaving everything a mess and by night be would be out drinking and going to see his girlfriend beth at about 3:00 or 2:00am  james would stumble into the house drunk, tripping over things and waking taylor late in the night, but one day james had left that night and left the house a pig sty a taylor was tired of having to clean up after him and james doing whatever he wants so James come back in the morning after having his one night stand with his “girlfriend” beth taylor got up early made breakfast for her and derek and when james come in the dining room derek and got up to get something and left the from and then  taylor saw her chance to talk to james
“James you need to start helping around the house more.” taylor said
James looked at her “ I help plenty around the house.” he said in a stubborn tune
“Eating all the food in the house and leaving a mess everywhere is the opposite of helping james.” Taylor said in a snarky remark
“What are you trying to say taylor?” he replied getting angry
“Im saying that if you don't start help around the house you might as while just get out.” taylor said to james. James pushed his chair back angrily and stood up fast, Taylor got scared that he was going to hit her but her did not.
“FINE, YOU WANT ME OUT!!” james screamed at taylor as he grabbed his bags and started to leave
“ THEN I'M OUT!” james said as he slammed the door shut james throws his bags in the back of his truck and drives off, derek comes back into the room
“Taylor what happened?!” He said in a upset tone
“I told him he needs to start helping around the house or get out and he left.”
“Taylor why?! Ug Im going to go get him and we will talk about this when i get back.” derek said irritably as he walk out the door and to his car to goes after james. As james is speeding down the road when he remembers that he had forgotten his wallet back at the house he makes a quick U turn so he can head back to the house and in mid turn his brother derek is speeding down the road and is looking down at his phone trying to call james when he looks up it's too late they crashed into each other derek flies out of his cary throw the windshield and lands on the road  and james flies across his car breaking through the passenger window and lands a foot away from derek as they both lay there slowly bleeding out the police are speeding to where they are when the police and the ambulance finally get there derek and james are laying in a huge puddle of their own blood as the paramedics run over to derek and james, james and derek blood start to create a stream going towards each other as the paramedics get out the defibulators and began to turn them on the streams of blood inched closer and closer the paramedics began to rub the shock pads together and place them down on derek and james chest the blood stream touches and the electricity course through james and derek's bodies and through the blood streams and at that moment james became derek and derek became james. After the paramedics got a pulse from derek and james the put them in the ambulance and rushed them to the hospital, taylor got the call from the hospital and rushed over to the hospital when she got there she saw beth
“What happened? Are is derek okay?” taylor asked as she rushed up to beth
“I don't know the doctors only told me that there was a horrible accident and is surprised that they are even still alive and they are in surgery now..” beth said wiping the tears off her face trying to catch her beth. The sat there in the waiting room after hours the doctor finally came out   “I have good news and bad news, They both made it through surgery but they are both and commas.. And may not wake up.” he said looking back and forth between beth and taylor
“you can go on and see them if you'd like.” the doctor said and laid them to the room derek and james were in before her walked away taylor and beth both enter the room and beth goes to james and taylor goes to derek day after day taylor would come to the hospital and sitting next to derek cutting his hair when it grow out to long cutting his facial hair taking care of derek day after day hoping he would walk up weeks begane to past and be for you know it months but one day when taylor came to the hospital and was sitting then all of a sudden James wakes up from his coma screaming and freaking out taylor jumps up and pushes up against the wall scared half to death the doctors and nurse ran in trying to calm him down and get him to fall back asleep, couple hours had past and james had woke up taylor was sitting next to derek and james whisper “taylor..” taylor looked up over at james confused beth went up to james and said “it's me baby?... Beth..” and then he fell back asleep.
A week and james was able to leave the hospital and the doctors had pulled taylor a side and told her “ you’ll have to take him home because he is on a high dose of pain medication and unable to drive himself.” taylor looked through the window of the door look at james and sighed “okay.” Taylor help james get in the car and drove him to the house and help him around weeks went by and james was acting strange doing thing that derek would do, wearing his conlon, james cut his hair to be like how derek's was, doing old hobbies derek would do, he was acting like derek Taylor thought it was strange and off she had to get out of the house and away from james  . “I’m going back to the hospital to be with derek.” taylor said
“What do you mean? i'm already here taylor.” james said confused
Taylor just looked at him “I'm going to the hospital James To be with my Husband.” Taylor said
“What are you talking about i’m right here i’m not james i’m derek taylor.” James said to taylor. Taylor walked up to james and sat in front of him
“Okay james what are you talking about..”
“Why do you keep calling my james i derek not james!!” he yelled at taylor taylor got up quickly and to walk backwards away from james “ okay james you're scaring me..”
“I'm sorry taylor.. I don't know what happened but something happened in that car crash and somehow my soul is in james is body and james soul is in my body….”
“James what are you talking about that's crazy?!” James got up and started walking toward taylor slowly “Taylor i need you to listen to me. Im telling the truth to you im Derek not james.” taylor kept walking backwards away from james “James you're talking crazy…” taylor dumped into the wall not able to walk any further james was standing in front of her and reaches for her and lends forward “do you remember that old couple that took a picture of us what i whispered in your ear?” james said looking at taylor
“How do you know what derek said to me james he never told anyone.” taylor said confused
“Im telling you taylor i'm derek…” james lends forwards “Thats our future….” Taylor's eyes widened realizing that only her and derek knew what he had said to her and that james knew and she started crying and hugged james (derek)
“I was so worried i had lost you.” james (derek) hugged her back
“I'm sorry baby.. I'm here Now and i'll never leave you again.”  weeks went by and Taylor stop going to the hospital to check on derek (james.) James (derek) stop going to see beth which got beth curious , so beth came over to taylor and derek's house where james was stay and walked in on taylor jumping on james (derek) kissing him and holding a pregnancy test that was positive taylor stop and got off of james
“James.. Can i talk to you for second” beth said,
“Um yeah.. Excuse us baby.” James (derek) and james and beth walked out of the house out to the porch.
“What the hell are you doing james.. You get into a car crash, stop going around and now you're screwing your brothers wife… i remember you telling me that you hated her.”
“Look i don't know who you are or what your talking about, i'm sorry for what ever my brother had done to you ..”
“Cut the s*** James you're not fooling anyone stop playing this game if you don't i'm going to tell taylor the truth. “
“The truth about what?” james said to bet, beth begins to push and hitting james “come on hit me! Hit me James!”
James (derek) grabs beth by the arms and starts shaking her “ look stop i'm sorry okay i don't know who you are but you need to get out of here.” and pushes beth hard enough to where she falls on the ground and walks away and goes back and side. The next day james when to beth house and waited for her to get home, finally when beth got home james was sitting on the couch waiting for here in the dark “oh my god! “ she yelled when she turned on the light “god dammit james! what are you doing here?”
“ I came to see you baby.” James said as he got up and started walking over to beth and pushes her up against a wall slowly starts kissing her then begins pull out a knife from his back pocket and starts stabbing beth multiple times over and over again until she stopped screaming. Meanwhile Taylor is at home cleaning and goes upstairs to their bedroom and starts to clean underneath the bed on the said the derek slept on and finds a box she pulls the box out from underneath the bed and notices the lock on it was broken she opened the box and found a book and open the book and found it to be derek's diary and begins to read it and sees that he tells about everyday that taylor and derek have been together and there was one page she come acrossed that told about the day when the old couple had taken their pictures taylor gasped and dropped the book the phone began to ring taylor rushed to get it trying to calm herself say and answered “hello.”
“Hey babe it's me sorry i'm running a bit late i got held up at work.” taylor begins to freak out that James pretends to be Derek and stays silent for a while “baby hello you still there.”
“Umm yeah haha yeah sorry just saw something interesting on the t.v.”
“Oh okay… i see while i should be home in a bit i love you..”
“Oh yeah um i love you to bye.” and hangs up the phone. Taylor runs back up to the room and starts to throw her stuff in a suitcase taylor runs to the bathroom and opens up the cabinet and grags what's hers and throws it in her suitcase when she closes the cabinet she sees james in the mirror and gasped “oh… babe.. You scared me..”
“Sorry.. What are you doing whats with the suitcase?”
“Oh um that i thought um we could go...umm to a cabin for the weekend.”
“Hmmm i see.” James smacks taylor across the face “dont f***ing lie to me!” Taylor tries to run out of the bathroom but James grabs her by her hair and throws her on the ground the shelves fall down off the wall and land on top of Taylor and a pair of scissors “James stop there's something wrong.. There's something wrong with the baby James…” james slowing kneels down to help Taylor up but Taylor grabbed the pair of scissors and stabbed James in the chest over and over until his laying in the ground bleeding out, James dies. Taylor starts to go to the hospital to be with Derek and waits for him to wake up no matter how long she has to wait….
