HER TEO
Summary:
So, what was the source of her discontent? What was it that made her so lost mentally? She would rather be alone, but she is lonely. She covers it up with the job, helping people from a distance at a hospital. Nobody sees her pain but do they ever get close enough to? What happens when a dangerous man wants everything to do with her? Matteo Giuseppe. Will she keep pushing him away, hoping he gets the point and she continues her quiet life? Or will she let him in along with all of his demons?
"C'mon, Tesoro, I need you to breathe," he urged as she rocked back and forth in the corner, his hands struggling to grasp onto hers.
Because she was so out of it, she could barely make out what he was saying. Her gaze was fixed on the ground, tears streaming down her face, and her breathing was shallow. When she felt her body being removed from the corner, she'd hoped that he realized whatever he was saying wasn't helping.
She felt herself being placed on his lap, surrounded by two muscular arms. Safe. Everytime she was with Mateo she felt safe. Nobody had ever made her feel this way before.
