Summary:
“You can see me?” I asked, my voice shaking. “Y-yeah. Oh my god, Laika. If I hadn’t of been out with Kailani-”
“No, stop. This isn’t your fault, and it’s not mom’s or dad’s. It’s not anyone’s fault. It-it just happened, ok?”
Laika was only 15 when she was taken from the world, and the only person who can see her is her brother, Kai. Her parents feel devastated as the think her death was their fault. Laika contacts her parents, trying to make sure they know that this is no one's fault except for her killer's, through Kai.
