As Jerry and Jack are sitting in the woods waiting for the bus to drive by so they can go somewhere else they see some more of their friends walking by. Jack thought it was a good idea to get them to ditch also to he starts yelling their names Mitchell, Marisa, A.J. come here, we are over here. They look around but see nobody so Jack decides to throw a rock at A.J. and start yelling again. Finally, they see them and walk over to see what they want, so Jack tells them Jerrys plan to ditch school but Marisa doesn’t feel okay with doing it because she is scared to get caught. But regardless she wants to see Jerry go through with this, there is no way she is going to miss this. Shortly after the bus pulls up then just sits there for about five minutes then takes off, but hooligan Jack just has to throw a rock at the bus and break a window. The bus driver immediately slams on the breaks and comes to a stop. Then, the bus driver walks out of the door and yells “whoever did this needs to come out and confront me right now!”. Marisa starts to panic and begins to cry, as well as A.J., then Jerry whispers “come on guys lets go, we need to run”. In a hurry they all speed off deeper into the dark, scary woods, a place where none have them have ever gone. After about ten minutes of running they stop they sit down and start to talk. Jerry, right off the bat starts to yell at jack about how stupid he is and how that he shouldn't have done what he did. Suddenly they hear a helicopter fly overhead and is repeating a message “We are looking for a group of teens, if you see them please report to your “Big
Brother”.

Marisa begins to cry repeat to herself “I know this was a bad idea, I knew this was a bad idea”. A.J. walks over to comfort her and to make her quiet down so they don’t get caught. Jerry and Jack begin to start brainstorming about what to do. So Jerry comes up with the idea to go back to his house to grab some food, water, and blankets so they can survive alone and not get caught. What they have done will get them killed, the dictator would consider them a threat. It has been two weeks since they heard the helicopter it is the 21st of the month, they are not sure weather to come out of hiding or to stay in it forever. Food is running low so Jerry thinks that Jack and him should head over to Jerrys house and take some more food and supplies. Jerry and Jack are the edge of the tree line and see soldiers coming out of his house, so they sit and wait. It has been about forty minutes and the dictators men finally leave. Jerry and Jack run with great haste over to Jerrys house only to find Jerrys worst nightmare. Jerry takes two steps into his house and see blood dripping from the walls, he starts to yell “dad!, Dad can you hear me, dad are you here!?” They slowly walk into his house looking for his dad. Once they searched all the rooms they find him in the kitchen dead, With both of his legs ripped off and three fingers gone, blood is still pouring out of his body and the room is filled with flies around the body and it smells like horrible also, along with a gunshot to his temple. Jerry begins to cry, he sits down on the blood pool floors, regretting everything he did and got everybody into. But Jack must stay strong and stick to the plan he fills his and Jerrys backpack with all the food and water he can hold, then reminds Jerry that they can’t stay there they might be back soon. So Jerry and Jack pay their respects and leave back to their camp site. It is very dark and cold by the time they get back, but luckily they have a fire already going. Jerry pulls out a pot and positions it over the fire, then opens a couple cans of beans and slowly cooks it because they must keep a low fire they wouldn't want anybody finding them due to a smoke cloud. After they eat A.J., Jerry, and Jack take turns keeping watch so nobody can sneak up on them in the middle of the bitter cold night. Suddenly A.J. here's a helicopter and starts yelling “wake up, everybody wake up now!”. In a hurry they all start to panic, then a spotlight from the helicopter in shined on them. They grab what they can then start to run north, towards the border. Looking for a chance at escape, after about 30 minutes of running they think they got away, for now. Jack says i know a place we can hide, it is called Nova Falls. After discussing it for short bit of time they decide to go there looking for a sanctuary or as some may call it their new safe haven. Jack leads the group to Nova, but Jerry and A.J. want to go back to their old safe place. On there way to the old camp site they see shoulders picking up their food and water, also there blankets. As they begin to walk back to Nova Falls Jerry steps on a long branch and *Snap, the branch makes a loud noise alerting all the guards. Jerry and A.J. quietly lay down on the floor and brush some leaves to try and hide themselves. The General tells some  of his men to go check it out. The  soldiers - armed with a m4 assault rifle and Colt m1911 pistol. So A.J. and Jerry whisper and make a plan to mug one of them  and take his weapons. The guard is almost at the top of the hill, so Jerry and A.J. are getting ready to strike. He is now at the top of the hill Jerry moves his foot to make some noise so he will walk further and then *bam A.J. hits him in the testicals causing him to drop to the floor. Jerry quickly grabs his m4 and 4 60 round clips and begins to run, A.J. grabs his Colt m1911 and ammo but can not get up because he is laying on his leg, A.J. then begins to pistol whip him in the ribs hoping to cause him more pain and to move his legs. instead the guard starts to yell, suddenly three more guards start running up the hill. Jerry begins to turn around and run back to sav A.J.. Jerry begins firing the m4 and making his way back, A.J. then starts shooting starting with the guy laying on him. Then the guards start firing back, Jerry drops to the floor screaming in pain he realizes he took a shot to his shoulder. A.J. finaly gets up and starts to run, see Jerry and helps him up they are not being pursued anymore but Jerry is seriously injured. After two hours of walking Jerry and A.J. make it over to Nova Falls, but the only way to get down is to jump. A.J. begins to freak out and due to his huge fear of heights, so they decide to sit down on the edge of the waterfall roughly 40 feet above the water. Jerry is trying to talk A.J. down and convince him to jump but he won, so suddenly out of nowhere Jerry with great force, shoves A.J. off the sketchy, crumbling ledge then jumps off himself into the frigid cold water. After the loud splash they both made they hear a voice, they start going into a defencive mode and are looking where the noise came from. They submerge their whole body up to their eyes under water and continue to look for the mysterious voice.
Off in the distance about 50 yards away they see there good ole pal Jack waving them into the cave. As they are swimming over they see some soldiers at the top of the waterfall looking down, they don’t see them yet but they won't leave. Jerry and A.J. are not that far from the cave so they decide to try and swim under water, but they are not sure if they will make it.
They are only a few feet from the cave but A.J. is struggling for air and is starting to panic but Jerry is making sure he stays under. They are almost there and suddenly A.J. goes limp. Jack pulls A.J. out of the water and begins to perform C.P.R. on him, Jerry starts freaking out… thinking he may have just killed his friend.

Jack forces himself to take a couple deep breaths before continuing C.P.R. Calming himself, he focuses on the rhythm, willing his friend to breathe again.
After a minute, A.J. begins to start spitting out water and gasping for air. Jerry starts crying with tears of relief. A.J. starts to tell him its not his fault, that he had no choice or the whole group would have died. Jerry, Jack, and A.J. walk deeper into the cave and are filled with relief because Marrisa, and Mitchell have a fire going. A.J. and Jerry start stripping from their drenched clothes and hang them up by the fire. Jack decides walk out of the cave and try to catch a fish for dinner. Jerry starts telling the story about what had happened within the last two and a half hours. He starts explaining how they robbed the soldiers for their guns and ammo, how they barely got away and how they jumped into the water from the top of Nova falls, as well as when A.J. almost drowned to death. Shortly after the long story Jerry gave, Jack come back into the cave with two medium-small fish, just enough for everybody to get something to eat. After dinner they decide to get some rest and get ready for tomorrow, Mitchell decides to take first watch. It’s 6:30 am, the next day  Jerry is sitting down talking to Jack about what they should do to get more food. A.J. is listening to their conversation and walks over then states “why don’t we sneak into town and seal some food from the town market”. Jack yells “Yes! Yes! Yes! great idea A.J.”. Shortly after they make a plan to go into town but Jerry can’t go due to bullet that him him when he was trying to get away from the soldiers after they robbed them, so Jerry will have to trust that Jack and A.J. can pull this off. They wait until about noon before they do anything, they leave the m4a1 assault rifle with the rest of the group but they talk the colt 1911 pistol with them just in case things go south. As they are preparing to leave Jerry hands them a hat and a jacket with a hood then pats both of them on their backs and calmly says “good luck”. Jack and A.J. start walking out of the cave and leaving Nova falls heading for town. As they are walking through the woods they can hear a helicopter flying around not to far away. They start to run with great haste towards town, then suddenly the helicopter flies right over them then stops not to far head and turns around. Jack and A.J. lay on the ground and cover their bodies in leaves and dirt, just until it passes over. It flies just about over them and hovers there for about twenty minutes, then flies away. A.J. and Jack slowly get up looking around for another helicopter that might sneak up on them. Jack and A.J. start walking towards town again and can see it in the distance, not to far away. They start to jog, they now are about a hundred feet from the town gate. Jack puts his hood on and A.J. pull his hat down before they enter the town. Jack and A.J. are starting walk into the market looking for some food to steal. Out of the corner of Jacks eye he sees some apples and oranges. They walk over with a plan, A.J. “accidentally” knocked over a basket of oranges. As A.J. and the market stand owner are picking up the oranges Jack takes all the apples and oranges he can, stuffing his pockets and even putting them in his pants. After the fruit is all  picked up A.J. apologies and they both walk out of the town. As they are leaving an orange rolls down and out of jacks pants leg. They both look at eachother, then look back and start to run. They are approaching the gate and the two guards pull their guns on them. A.J. and Jack stop, the guards start walking towards them with their guns drawn and stating “Put your hands behind your head”, over and over again. One guard starts searching Jack to see what he has, then notices he has a bunch of fruit in his pants. Jack suddenly draws the colt 1911 pistol and shoots both of them, A.J. grabs what guns and ammo he can then starts running. Jack with half as much fruit as he originally stole is going in shock but starts running. Six guards come running out of the town to chase them, Jack is running but starts to turn and shoot. He hits two of the guards and runs out of ammo in his clip, he reloads and starts firing again and this time he hits three of them and only has two bullets left to shoot. He puts the gun on his hip and starts running faster and faster, then stops and draws the gun and tries to shoot the last guard but missed both times. They can hear the guard calling for backup Jack Loads his last mag into the gun and gets ready to shoot. A.J. Quickly draws the m4a1 he picked up off the dead guard and starts firing, roughly five seconds later the mag is empty, the whole Forest is silent. Jack runs over to A.J., they Just stand there and waiting. Within seconds Jack grabs A.J. By the back of his shirt then starts running, faster and faster and faster they are running. After a very long draining run they finally make it all the way back to Nova falls to regroup with their friends. They are home, anyways it's what they call home, they A.J. and Jack start passing out apples and oranges to everybody. Jerry's leg is now infected from his gunshot wound.
