The Importance of Shopping Locally stems from keeping wealth circulating throughout the community, helping it to prosper. Energy is conserved through minimal packaging, less fuel for transportation, and less waste used in production. Small businesses receive the benefits of being able to support their employees better, and more taxes from the sales are invested back into the community. Lastly, who doesn’t love personalized, homely service?
