My Feet On Display In Mind's Eye
Stop for a moment and glance my way.
I won't be able to breathe easily until you have done what I say. This competition I recieve isn't anything that I anticipated. At the end of the white line lies the other runner's feets. I glance at my own and discover the anomaly: no spikes. Why did I lose this relay? Or better yet, why didn't run the mile instead?
