Ray Rice is an NFL Ravens football player. After rumors say he is accused of hitting his fiance physically, supposedly caught on tape. A couple days ago, he and other NFL administrators were at a press conference in Baltimore Maryland. They had decided a suspension for a few games. But, now that they reviewed the case, they had suspended him from playing in any NFL team, and his career as a football player has ended.

When the NFL had first talked about the case, they had only suspended him for a short time. The short time was only 2 games, then after that, the suspension was infinite. They knew what was on the tape before they even saw it. They didn’t actually, they just made an assumption of what they THOUGHT that was on it. They thought what was on it was him committing domestic violence, until they saw the tape.

After they had finally seen the tape, they saw what was actually on it. Ray Rice’s fiance is now standing up for him even after what he did. She wants people to stop talking and asking her and him about it. She told paparazzis, “There is a reason that I am still with my ‘abuser’”. He also claims to regret what he did to her, he stated, “I’m deeply sorry that all of this happened, I practically ruined my family and my career.” They decided his suspension was temporary as listed above. But then they took it seriously and looked more closely to decide he was suspended from the NFL.
