Saying Goodbye
I hear the clock hit zero
I feel the moment i have
Been fearing for the last four years is hear
I think about all I've been through
And can't bare the thought
Of saying goodbye
To this game i so love.
The tears begin to fall
As we line on the twenty
And we all suddenly realize
That it is truly over.
We huddle together
And let out our funal war cry,
One i swtill hear echoing through the air.
I see the sideline drawing near
And my stomach begins to churn
As i step across,
I feel a part of my soul wither and die.
Even today i still feel it hurt
I guess it is just all part of
Saying Goodbye.
