The Bird (Snowbird) MAG
The Bird,
Snowbird that is,
Is a place where one takes risks,
Maybe even life risks.
The snow is incredible,
The powder is deep,
The cliffs are big.
Jumps where you would get,
Huge, tweaked, boneless, totally mutated air,
And leaves you soaring,
Thinking,
And it might give you an adrenaline rush.
Thinking about the landing,
Disturbs your original thought process,
And brings in thoughts of face plants,
Maybe even a severe wipe out.
Leaving,
The worst thoughts of all,
Being depressed is an easier way to describe it.
To know you're leaving this heaven behind,
And going home,
Back to the real world.
