I like Creighton University almost as much as I like the Creighton men' basketball team. Since I
like them both I am going to tell you guys a little about both of them. They have won every year in
cedar falls. CU was founded in 1878, by a women named Mary Lucretia Creighton. The Creighton colors
are white and blue. There nick name is the Blue Jays. Their mascot is Billy the Blue Jay. The
men' team has13 players and the players are Booker Wood fox, P'Allen Stinnett, Cavel Witter,
Justin Carter, Kenny Lawson Jr., Dustin Sitzmann, Josh Dotzler, Chad Millard, Kaleb Korver, Josh
Jones, Antoine Young, Casey Harriman, and Kenton Walker. In this year the 08-09 season the Blue Jays
are going 19-25. The best game of the season was the Nebraska vs. Creighton game. Even though they
lost it was a really good game. The score was 54(Nebraska) to 52(Creighton). They played hard, just
not hard enough. Creighton is a class A school. It is really nice and the basketball court is really
nice too. The tennis court and volleyball court are inside. Their baseball fields are really cool.
One is a practice field and one is a playing field. They are both right next to each other so it
looks really cool. Now that you have read my essay I hope you guys think Creighton University is as
awesome as I think it is and how awesome the team is. I hope that one day I will see you there. I
more hope that I play on the same court with you.
