NBA Playoffs

I have been tasked to research a topic that interests me and I have decided to pick the 2023 Nba playoffs and figure out who has the most to Gain In this playoff run and the most to lose. Lebron James has an interesting case he's 38 years old and by then most players are either retired or playing their last year not averaging 30 and at this point in player's careers they don't have much to lose "You guys know and I've been on the record LeBron is playing with house money he's 38 he's in his 20th season he can't decrease his legacy he can only increase it except for one instance"(Broussard) This instance is playing LeBrons rival in the playoffs and the defending champions golden state warriors if LeBron loses this series he will be 1-4 in playoff series against Steph and people might start to question is Steph better than Lebron.

Speaking of Steph, Steph has a lot to gain this year " It's time to have an adult conversation. You are not looking at magic johnson, steph curry as the greatest point guard ever "(cowherd). Then if He would go on to win another championship he would tie magic johnson the other point guard he's being compared to also being the greatest shooter of all time and having one of the greatest dynasties of all time steps in my people's eyes he would be the undisputed Greatest point guard of all time.

Let's go out east “The Celtics are the team to beat in the east" (Barkley). I don't agree that the 76ers have the league MVP plus the Celtics have nobody who can stop him or slow him down. As we've seen in the previous series the Celtics superstar jayson tatum last year's eastern conference MVP has been too up in down in these playoffs letting a team that almost didn't make the playoffs take them to six games compared to the 76ers who faced a better team and swept them winning in 4 games the 76er take care of business can't say the same for the Celtics, and if they lose this series the Celtics might break up the duo of Jayson Tatum and Jalen brown because this will be the 5th year they haven't been able to win the championship.

Next up is the Miami Heat "I wouldn't say fear but I'm concerned Jimmy Butler leads the NBA in scoring in the postseason"(Smith). I'm right there with him jimmy butler is fearful he just lead his team to do something that has happened only 6 times in NBA history which is the one seed losing to the 8th and with this Jimmy Butler is building himself a hall of fame case, When he joined the Miami heat in the summer of 2019 many people thought he did it for the money and not to win but that's have been far from the truth although they haven't won the championship in the last four year they have been to the NBA finals eastern conference finals and their on their way to going back to the eastern conference finals on the back of Jimmy butler.

Last but not least The Phoenix Suns have a lot of pressure down 3-2 and after their disappointing loss to the Mavericks last year they're on the hot seat for Kevin Durant especially because people are questioning his greatness he lost to the Warriors and then joined them won two championships with them,Then left and ever since then he hasn't done anything and it

doesn't make it better because the warriors again won the championship so they won before him and after him so how much didn't they really need him and how great is he really without the warriors. In conclusion, out of LeBron, Steph ,Kevin Durant, and the Celtics Kd simply has the most to lose because of his career outside of Golden State and which he hasn't proved he can win.
