What Is My Dream?
One day I was in my room thinking about my future. I thought about how I never took the time to really think about what I want to do in life. Am i going to be sure of it? The answer to that was no. I was never sure with what I wanted to do with my life and that scared me. My older sister walks in and noticed the worried expression on my face, she had asked me what was wrong and if I was okay. I told her that I was scared of not knowing what I want to do with my life and how I wish it were easy. She sighed and said to me," it's okay to be confused. You're young, you'll be okay." That made me feel a bit better but I still wanted to be sure of what I want to do, career wise. My sister looked at me and then said, "alright, what do you like ? And by that I mean like hobbies." I thought about it and told her I love the thought of traveling, I love to help people, and lastly I really want to make a change in the world. She smiled and says to me, "try looking into medical school, specifically a doctor, I think you'll like it." And with that she left and I sat on my bed contemplating whether she works be right.
I decided to take her advice and look into medical school and see what I think. I searched up many medical schools and information on becoming a doctor. As I learned more it, i began to really like everything about a doctor's career. The thing I love the most was that I could save so many lives and the thought of that overfilled me with joy. Helping people is something I'm very passionate about. My sister sure was right and I couldn't be more grateful for her help. I'm sure I want to pursue this as my career. There's nothing more that could make me happier than the thought of saving lives. I know it is going to be a difficult road to get to where I want to be in life., but it's all worth it. I was so excited to achieve my goal and most importantl, to make a change in the world.
