To some people best friends are very important to them, I know for a fact that they sure do mean a whole lot to me. Having friends who are going to be there for you whenever you need them is beneficial
because you won't be alone. When I met Lily and Jeremiah they were the only people I could trust. I didn't know why but I did. This is how I met Lily and Jeremiah and how we dealt with all of our hardships.

I had barely gotten to Texas the summer before the 2nd grade had started. Days seemed to drag along until I was finally able to go to school. I was actually surprised to see a brand new classroom. The carpet was like no one had ever stepped on it, the desks were brand new, which was rare at my school, and the smell of the room was like that lemon scented cleaning spray. This day was the day I met Lily.

I had to sit next to her because the teacher made it seem as if I would be uncomfortable sitting next to a boy, which I wasn't. That day I stayed quiet, didn't talk to anyone including the teacher. All day these
random thoughts ran into my head, “will I fit in”, “am I going to have friends”. It was around the 3rd day of school Lily and I started to argue. She would say mean things like “you don't belong here”
and I said “it doesn’t matter because I'm already here”. Towards the end of the year though we had become really good, close friends.


Going onto the 3rd grade I had finally met Jeremiah. After meeting each other we had immediately friends. Yes like with Lily we had our down times like when he stopped talking to me for about 3 weeks.

No matter how much I tried to talk to him he would either ignore me or say “go away” but that was it. I figured out why but it was personal so I can't say, yet I felt bad because I kept bothering him. I introduced him to Lily and we had became the best of friends. We were put in the same class in elementary leading up until 7th grade where they finally split us up. To count in total it has been about 8 years since I met Lily and about 7 since I met Jeremiah. Our little triangle has always been together. Up to this day we still talk to each other and hang out .

It's important to me to have people like Lily and Jeremiah in my life because they have always been for me and I’ll always be there for them even if they don't want me there. I don't even think of them as best friends anymore. They to me are now family, Lily being my sister and Jeremiah being my older brother because he says he older even though I am. They're my world, even though you would think “doesn't your family closer though they aren't. In all honesty I am closer to them than I am with my own family. I care for them so much I just hope that nothing happens to them.
